Black Ops 2 Beats Far Cry 3 on the UK Gaming Charts
Leave it up to Black Ops 2 to hold the number one spot on the UK charts as Far Cry 3 settles for second place. However, there were many other titles that had crept their way into the top five on this list. And some of those titles include Just Dance 4 and FIFA 13. Keep in mind that Black Ops 2 isn’t performing as well as it has in previous years.
More specifically, it experience a fifteen percent drop in sales as of December 8th. This worried producers however, the good news was that it has held the top spot on the gaming charts for a month. There are only a few other titles that have been able to accomplish this. But this isn’t the only game that had dropped in regards to sales.
Sales for Other Games on UK Gaming Chart
Unfortunately, there were other games on the list who had managed to drop their sale production. More specifically, Far Cry 3 had managed to lose close to ten percent of their sales while FIFA 13 has only lost about eighteen percent in sales. A game that really took a hit was Just Dance 4. It dropped over fifty percent in sales but it still holds the number four spot on the list which is relatively surprising.
But do keep in mind that there were a few other games that had actually sprung to life over the past two weeks. For example, Assassin’s Creed 3 managed to jump up in sales by about ten percent while Hale 4 managed to increase its sales by a whopping thirty six percent. However, they were still holding the number seven and eight spots on the UK Gaming List. On the number nine and ten spots were WWE 13’ and LEGO Lord of the Rings.
UK Gaming Chart List
Let’s take a look at the top twenty games that have made their way onto the UK Gaming Chart list. First we had Black Ops 2, which has held that spot for nearly a month. The following three games after it included Far Cry 3, FIFA 13’, and Just Dance 4. From there we start moving towards then number five and six spots on the list. Note that these two games had increased sales over the past few weeks.
They included Hitman: Absolution and Assassin’s Creed 3. Halo 4 was on the list right behind them while Need for Speed: Most Wanted was driving the world crazy not too far in the distance. Finally, we had the last two games on the top 10 which included WWE 13’ and LEGO Lord of the Rings. It was an impressive top 10 list, but it wasn’t over. The other half of the list contained some popular titles as well.
Second Half of UK Gaming List
At the number 11 spot was Skylanders Giants followed by Moshi Monsters. After that we had Medal of Honor followed by Football Manager 13’. And as we started making our way towards the end of the list, we see the Elder Scrolls at number 15. From there it is followed by Sonic and All Stars Racing and Super Mario Brothers 2. LEGO Batman took the number 18 spot while F1 2012 and Dishonored took number 19 and 20.
